Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention

The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) is a coalition of organizations and people dedicated to reducing substance abuse and building community in southern Kennebec County. The group has representation from many parts of the community, including law enforcement, the religious community, schools, youth, parents, business, and more. All members work together to create programs, recruit program participants, enforce laws, align efforts, and otherwise collaborate to prevent substance abuse in southern Kennebec County. HCCA is the fiscal agent for ASAP and uses its guidance and membership to support substance abuse prevention efforts.

ASAP meets on the first Tuesday every odd-numbered month from 3:30-5:00 PM. We are always looking to increase community involvement. If you are interested in learning more about ASAP or becoming involved with the group, contact Holly Kiidli (h.kiidli@hccame.org or 588-5027).
